Prebiotic Balancing Cream
This cream is a real powerhouse for problem oily skins! It has a light silky texture and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. We understand the frustration with treating oily and congested skins. Our Prebiotic Balancing Cream takes on a holistic approach to help minimise oil sitting on the skin, reduce the amount of congestion in the pores and promoting hydration.
The hero ingredient is Hydrolized Yeast Protein. It is a prebiotic which means that it feeds the good bacertia on your skin as well as minising the bad bacteria. This in turn helps reduce inflammation.
We have teamed it with Bladderwack and Portulaca extracts that both aid in minizing bacteria on the skin while soothing and reducing irritation.
Key Ingredients
Hydolyzed Yeast Protein - Increases skin hydration and skin barrier strengthening properties. It supports the skins defence against bad microbes by supporting the synthesis of skins own anti-microbial proteins and almost doubles the amount of ceramide synthesis and increases the total lipid synthesis by almost one third.
Aloe Vera - Used for centuries for its soothing and healing properties. Grown organically, Aloe is high in antioxidants, vitamins A, B2, B6, B12, C & E. Minerals: Calcium, Sodium, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium, Copper, Zinc, Chromium & Selenium.
Citrullus Lanatus Seed Oil -Watermelon Oil Contains a rich source of Beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant and one of the most beneficial vitamins for the healing and repair of the skin. It has oil balancing properties, which helps dissolve excess sebum build up, helping you maintain a clear and healthy complexion.
Cucumis Sativus Seed Oil - Cucumber Oil Cooling and refreshing and is a great source of potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, sillicon, chlorine, and florine.
Pumpkin Seed Oil Healing properties due to is zinc and omega content
Bladderwack Extract Bladderwrack is a form of seaweed (Kelp) that is rich in Iodine. Iodine is often used on the skin to help boost healing and for its anti-microbial properties. This makes It a great addition when targeting problem skin. Another benefit is that it helps bind water to the skin therefore boosting skin hydration.
Portulaca Exract This Australian native is said to be able to help improve the appearance of pimples, swelling, itching and irritation. It has a fantastic calming and soothing effect on the skin. Ideal for irritated blemished skins.
Allantoin From comfrey root, allantoin has been used for centuries for its soothing and healing properties
